There’s nothing here.
We wish there was something here, but there is not. You should think about that. Think about the fact that at one time there is nothing and something here. A binary that is inescapable, immutable, and infinite.
We all wish that in some fashion a tool would be made for us to combat the endless night of the nothing, but all we have is the something, which requires us to engage in the act of battling the nothing.
Which we do, but often with more nothing. And so at the end of the day we stare at the nothing we have wrought to combat the nothing, and then feel, inexorably, the creeping sensation of nothing in our hearts. Because we have done nothing to fight nothing, and all that remains is the obvious.
