10/02/2012 -- 2nd Phase...

Written by
The main thrust of my life right now is putting WTB Chicken script that does not suck, into Axe's greasy palms. We have been in the planning phase of many different stories over the last few years, and while some of the smaller seeds have squeezed out and landed somewhere, the big ones have been in a holding pattern. Panda Girls, Huxley Leagues, the ongoing Dark Verse stories, and for…

01/02/2012 -- Sandy Eyes

Written by
My eyes feel like sand has blown across their landscape for many moons, leaving nothing but the hollowed, whistling cracks of time in its wake. Also I'm tired.  Axe and I spent a good portion of last night working on a presentation for one of his clients -- writing out a clear idea is not as easy as you might think. But we did it. In recent times (specifically while…

25/01/2012 -- A new Quest.

Written by
I've been on the hunt for the past few months for a new book to begin writing. Axe and I have various projects floating around all the time, and much of my writing since November has been marketing material and synopsis drafts for some after-school special type stuff, and Chicken work. I was made fun of mercilessly as a child in school, and ever since I have zero tolerance for it. When I moved Junior High schools between grade 7 and…

19/01/2012 -- Sexism appears to be funny....

Written by
Today I wrote three separate spots for a technology company that is marketing with Axe. All three are intended to be funny, but poignant. The first two went by without any hitches, and while I think they bring a laugh at the moment, they still need a lot of work. What was strange was that the last one was the first idea I had come up with for the spots.…

Who are Axe & Crom?

Savages. Titans. Beggars. Fools. Champions.

In the halcyon days of 2004, Axe was a lowly freelance artist, scraping by through a semi-lucrative business selling SheHulk-bikini sketches and Mona Lisa knock offs. The great endeavor of his youth, Calgary's first 3D studio, AurenyA, had shattered like the moon Praxis.

Unto this came Crom. Working as an IT peon for a heartless corporation, Crom spent his days locked in a lightless dungeon. From this twisted darkness, he sent out small pieces of writing; interviews with cartoons character, op-ed pieces to no particular publication, general madness.

But fate, it seemed, had a bolder plan. The two became one, and a new era was born.

Sailing forth on their flagship Intellectual Property, Panda Girls, the two began to hone their skill as writers, creators, and tacticians. Now they are mercenaries for hire; mighty penmanship, combined with mighty narrative skill. If you have a script, if no one else can help, and you need a rewrite, maybe you can hire...
